In a bid towards securing information that may have been hidden from the general public within the last eight years of the Governor Abdullahi Ganduje-led All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, doors have been opened by the incoming New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), for such information to be discreetly made available.
This was contained in a statement signed by A. B. Baffa, Chairman, Gubernatorial Transition Committee (GTC), set up.by the NNPP, made available to our correspondent yesterday.
“The NNPP Gubernatorial Transition Committee, GTC that was set up by His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Governor–Elect of Kano State is inviting concerned members of the public that have any relevant information which would help the incoming administration to have more insight into what happened in the last Eight Years (2015 -2023) to submit such information, in writing, to the Secretariat of the GTC at the Presidential Wing of Tahir Guest Palace, No. 4 Ibrahim Natsugunne Road, Kano,” the statement said.
According to the statement titled, “Invitation for Information Memo from the Public” the GTC hinted that alternatively, information memos may be sent to the following email address: “Kano.GTC2023@gmail.com
“All submissions should be made from Thursday 18 to Monday 22 May, 2023 (between the hours of 9am to 9pm everyday).
