The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) Kaduna State Chapter hasvisited an orphanage home, at Mutawalle Road, Sabon Garin Nasarawa,
Kakuri in Kaduna South Local Government Area.
Speaking during the visit, the State President, Dr. Umar Musa said it was part of their 2021 Health Week activities.
He said, the orphanage home has more than 50 orphans, and the association donated food items and toiletries as part of gesture of the Kaduna State Doctors.
According to Doctor Musa, these orphans need their help, and that’s what they have done.
The President said, the Association of Resident Doctors will continue to reach out to the needy anytime they have the capacity to do so.
He called on other well to do in the society and other similar associations to support the orphans by donating something that can touch their lives.
The Health Week activities will continue with Medical Surgical Outreach on Saturday at Chikaji Model Primary Healthcare Center.
