*Kaduna Unity Club plans War Against Violence in Election campaign

Acting Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Tuesday, said that the Kaduna State Government is upholding best democratic practices and promoting election credibility in the state.
Dr. Hadiza Balarabe stated this when she received the delegation of the Kaduna Unity Club who came on a courtesy visit to her office at Government House in Kaduna.
She pointed out that the club should target both perpetrators and sponsors of election violence and vote buying in their campaigns to curb the menace, which erodes citizens’ confidence in the electoral process.
The Organizing Secretary of the club, Saleh Bilyaminu said as part of their contributions towards ensuring free and fair elections in 2023, the club is seeking the support of Kaduna State Government to stage a War Against Violence in Election (WAVE) campaign across the state.
