Kaduna State All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader, Hajiya Maryam Suleiman fondly called Mai Rusau is to empower 100 APC women in her Badarawa / Malali Ward of Kaduna State with ten thousand Naira each on Monday August 15, 2022.

This is the latest in a series of empowerment initiative, according to Hajiya Maryam Suleiman is part of Governor Nasir el-Rufai’s resolve to cushion the effects of hardship on the people, women in particular.

She explained that first batch of 100 women were selected as beneficiaries for easy crowd management, adding that subsequent batches  would follow  until a large segment of the less privileged would have been covered.

In a  statement,  Mairusau vowed to keep the momentum of remembering the poor with what she noted accrued to her from Governor Nasir el-Rufai as part of efforts to cushion the effect of poverty in the society.

She disclosed that the governor is usually unsettled each time the issue of suffering experienced by the masses is brought to his attention by personal and official aides.

The grassroots politician described Governor el-Rufai as a silent and generous giver, who detests being praised for doing good discreetly to the needy.

” I will ensure the masses, particularly women, who are my primary constituents are remembered and carried along in all my initiatives to prioritize their welfare and general wellbeing.

” This may be a token, but I believe it will go a long way in making  little impact on these beneficiaries, many of who seldom have good square meals.

” I didn’t wait to save plenty money before calling these women to give them because the resources may be consumed by other exigencies as usual with our daily activities where unbudgeted expenses crop up here and there.

” I must pay  glowing tributes as always to the governor of the masses, the governor of development,  the man of immense compassion to the poor who has been grossly misunderstood and misrepresented.

” You need to know him to grasp the good heart he has, particularly for the less privileged and children from poor homes.

” I must use this forum to reveal that the governor of Kaduna State is the source of my inspiration to give to women and children who are  unarguably the most vulnerable in our midst and we will continue doing so even outside public office”, she assured.
