The Senatorial flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Dattijo has commended the choice of the current Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe as the running mate of All Progressives Congress Gubernatorial Flagbearer, Distinguished Senator Uba Sani in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
In a statement he personally signed and issued to the media, Muhammad Dattijo said that the choice is as strategic as it is inclusive, considering the wealth of experience and competence of Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe in previous and current leadership role demonstrated as the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State in the last three and half years.
“It is a very strategic decision that further consolidates the inclusion of women in governance. Having worked closely with the nominee while I served as Chief of Staff to the Governor, I can attest to the pedigree, capacity and experience in her previous position leading the Primary Healthcare Agency and current role as Deputy Governor to our leader, Malam Nasir El-Rufai since 2019” said Muhammad Sani Dattijo.
Muhammad Dattijo further commended Senator Uba Sani and the entire stakeholders of the party for taking this important decision which clearly positions the state towards sustaining the legacies and huge gains recorded over the last seven and half years under the able leadership of Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai for posterity and the benefits of the good people of Kaduna State.
He also congratulated the Deputy Governorship nominee adding that she will add value to the ticket towards victory. Dattijo further charged all party members and the good people of Kaduna State to support the party ahead of next year’s general elections in order to return the All Progressive Congress to power.
“l am particularly excited with this decision and I commend our gubernatorial flagbearer, Senator Uba Sani and the entire party leadership for this decision which clearly positions our state on the path of sustaining the legacies and achievements recorded under our leader and mentor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai since 2015. I therefore urge all party members and indeed the good people of Kaduna State to support our great party to victory in next year’s election” Dattijo concluded.
