The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman has sympathized with Victims of the unfortunate yesterday tanker fire incident in Jos.
The incident which occurred at about 12.30pm yesterday, when a tanker loaded with premium motor spirit popularly referred to as petrol caught fire on the road.
The Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman who was devastated with the news of the incident, expressed shock at the unfortunate incident that resulted in loss of lives, injuries and destruction of property and sent his profound condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
Usman who conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to those who suffered various degrees of burns as a result of the fire and prays for their quick recovery.
The chairman assured that the council will constitute a committee to investigate the incident with a view to ascertaining it immediate and remote causes and to put in measures to forestall future occurrences.
