Jigawa State Governor, Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar  has commended the pilgrims of Jigawa State for this year’s Hajj as being good ambassadors in the Holy land.

The governor who is also the Jigawa State Amirul- Hajj, made the commendation  in Makka while addressing the pilgrims after completing this year’s Hajj.

According to him, the reports on the Jigawa State pilgrims are remarkable despite the few challenges encountered at the beginning of the operations.

Alhaji Mohammed Badaru apologized to the 53 pilgrims that had to travel to Abuja before they were airlifted to Saudi Arabia.

“This was as a result of general difficulty encountered by many states in the country as some pilgrims in other states missed the opportunity this year,” the governor said.

He assured the pilgrims that their return would be better as proper arrangements are in place for them to be airlifted back to Nigeria from Madina.
