*commends el-Rufai for “right choice”

The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Kaduna State has congratulated Rt. Honourable Aminu Shagali over his appointment as the Political Adviser to Governor Nasir el-Rufai.
This was expressed in a statement signed by the Kaduna IPAC Chairman, Malam Mikailu Abubakar, made available to our correspondent in Kaduna on Thursday July 7, 2022.
According to the statement, IPAC described Rt. Honourable Shagali as a round peg in a round hole, following his wealth of experience in the state, which saw him serve as the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
“We were not surprised when he was appointed Special Adviser on Politics to His Excellency. This is because he is a grassroots politician who has paid his dues and earned respect across the 23 local government areas of the state as well as the entire nation,” it said.
IPAC therefore, commended Governor el-Rufai for what they described as the right choice.
“We hail Governor Nasir el-Rufai for this brilliant choice. We are optimistic that it would translate to better relationship between the government and other political parties in the state,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, they charged Honourable Shagali to build bridges across all the political parties in the state, assuring to accord him maximum cooperation when the need arises.
Kaduna IPAC charged all candidates of political parties in the state to be decorum in campaigns ahead of the 2023 general elections.
