Insecurity: Nigeria Needs Synergy Of Agencies – Air Commodore Folaji

Head of the Nigerian Air Force, 671 Detachment, Ibadan, Air Commodore Nasir Babatunde Folaji  on Wednesday, advocated synergy  between  security agencies in Nigeria

Air Commodore Folaji made the call during a courtesy visit to the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) at the old Nitel Building, Agodi Ibadan.

He stressed that the Nigerian Air Force is ready to continue to give its  support to the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

” Security of the nation is the duty of all security operatives, therefore, there should be synergy of efforts between the two security agencies”, he said.

Air Commodore Folaji emphasized that security of Oyo State can only be achieved through persistent cooperation between the two organizations as it was done in the past.

Receiving the Head of the Nigerian Air Force, 671 Detachment, Ibadan, Oyo State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Adaralewa Micheal, disclosed that the era of inter-agency rivalry is over as the common goal is security of lives and properties of the people of Oyo State and the nation at large.

Commandant Adaralewa pointed out that Oyo NSCDC  has improved in its activities through investment in training and retraining exercise implemented by the Commandant General of the Corps, CG Abubakar Ahmed Audi.

He maintained that Oyo NSCDC command will continue to consult and romance the Nigerian Air Force whenever necessary as security of lives and properties is a joint venture for all security agencies and the citizens.
