Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has conducted a Mock Accreditation exercise in Daura Local Government Area of Katsina State.
New Nigerian gathered that, the Mock accreditation was carried out at Sharifawa and Shamadara polling units in Mazoji and Madobi wards in Daura metropolis respectively.
The Mock exercise commenced in the two polling units at about 8.30 am with a turn out of people.
While at Shamadara polling unit, the Officer conducted the exercise Mallam Yahaya Adamu said the exercise went on smoothly.
He explained that there are about 184 voters in the register of the polling unit.
Malam Yahaya Adamu described the Turn out of people as encouraging.
However, the B–Gaf machine has rejected the cards of some voters for making double registration.
Some people interviewed, commended the Commission for the conduct of the Mock exercise.
Alhaji Hamisu Nuhu said people need to be mobilized on the importance of the registration exercise.
According to him voters card would enable people to vote the candidates of their choice.
