The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Nigeria has awarded Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR) Samaru, Zaria the Most Outstanding Institute with Major Breakthroughs in Research/Result.
The award was presented by the Honorable Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Mohammed Mahmood Abubakar to the Executive Director, IAR, Professor Mohammad Dashiki Ishiyaku at the Ladi Kwali Conference Centre, Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.
The ceremony was part of 2021 World Food Day Celebration organized by Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) in collaboration with Food Agricultural Organisation (FAO).
