A receipient of Education Leadership Award, Alhaji Sirajo Ya’u Dambatta has assured that the recent award that was given to him has encouraged him in contributing more to the education sector for better livelihood in the area.
He made this known in an interview with our correspondent shortly after he was honoured by the National Association of Dambatta Students, (NADS), adding that as an academician, who is also serving in the education sector for many years, the award has also spurred him on to make more efforts in the field of education without relenting.
Alhaji Sirajo Ya’u stated that “Education is the tool for development, therefore I call on other well meaning citizens of Dambatta catchment area to offer their helping hands in the sector in order to fully equip our young ones with sound education as seen in other developing countries,” he stressed.
Furthermore, he commended the Dambatta students for including him among those selected for recognition based on efforts towards the development of education in Dambatta Local Government Area, saying that everybody has a great contribution to offer in educational transformation in the society, where he promised to always support the association at all times.
