Details have yesterday, been revealed, how Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, who just started his first term, emerged as the Vice Chairman of the influential Progressive Governor’s Forum.
He emerged at a meeting of the Progressives Governors’ Forum on Wednesday in Abuja.
However, according to him as our correspondent gathered yesterday, “I was unanimously picked as the Vice Chairman of the influential Forum by my dear colleagues. The Governor of Imo State, H.E. Hope Uzodinma emerged the Chairman.
“We are grateful for this honour and will work assiduously to chart a policy direction for the forum.
He said he will ensure that it serves as an effective peer review mechanism to fastrack progress and development of APC governed states.
“Shortly after our meeting, we had an interactive session with our party’s National Chairman, H.E. Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
“We committed ourselves to the effective execution of the policies and programmes of the APC and to work with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government to accelerate the economic development of the country and address the challenges of poverty and insecurity.
