Some selected youth across Kaduna State have been dominating the three days Maiden Plateau State Athletics Championship, taking place at the New Township Stadium, Zaria Road Jos, Plateau State from Thursday October 27 to Saturday 29, 2022.
The brilliant female athletes, Hajara Haruna, Temitope Oluseaan, Elizabeth Alege, Peace Lekwot, Happy Rasheed, Peniel Daniel, Emmanuella Emmanuel and male counterparts, John Monday, Onome Okozi, Busayo Adetoyi, Aliyu Isa, Devine Ebuka, have won their several heats and events in the ongoing championship.
The team of young boys and girls is led by Osiebe Felix Onoriode the founder of Coach Felix Academic and Sports Foundation assisted by the youngest world Athletics Youth Coach, Abdulhakim Idris.
As at the time of filing this report, Coach Felix was confident and optimistic that the team will emerge overall due to the caliber of athletes and performance of the Kaduna State Representatives.
He thanked the Hafsat Uba Sani Foundation Youth Wing for the contribution and support towards the success of the outing.
