Germany Legalizes Smoking, Use Of Marijuana

Germany Government has moved an inch closer to decriminalizing use and smoking of cannabis for recreational purpose.

The new law, the first of its kind in the whole of Europe will however require the approval of German parliament.

The most liberalized law in any European Union (EU ) member state if scaled through would allow adults the possession and use of a limited number of cannabis in a communal setting.

The country with the strongest economy in Europe presently allows production and utilization of marijuana for medical use only under strict prescription and supervision of medical experts.

The new arrangement shall as well protect underage children from exposure to the drugs.

While residents will be allowed to form and join voluntary nonprofit organization for enlightenment and safe use of marijuana, a government official disclosed on Wednesday evening in Berlin.
