A business man at Dawanau International Grains Market, Kano, Alhaji Abubakar Mu’azu has commended the Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for changing the face of some of the state’s markets for the betterment of commercial activities in the state.
He made the commendation in an interview with our correspondent at Dawanau market, where he stressed that Kano markets are really benefiting from the Ganduje administration, while all categories of traders are happy with the markets development projects initiated in order to boost commercial activities and open doors of opportunities for self-reliance among the people.
Alhaji Abubakar Mu’azu added that Governor Ganduje deserves respect for his efforts in maintaining the Kano slogan as the ‘Centre of Commerce’ citing an example of how Kantin Kwari Market is being modified for good business activities for both small and medium traders in the market.
Similarly, Alhaji Abubakar called on the state government and Dawakin Tofa Local Government Council to join hands and upgrade Dawanau International Grains Market by providing all the necessary infrastructure and facilities that would develop the market to an international standard.
