We Are Providing More Opportunities For Kano Farmers – AFAN

Farmers in Kano State would benefit from the provisions of the state’s branch of  All Farmers Association (AFAN), in order to boost their farming at both dry and rainy seasons with profitable production especially at present when the present administration considers agriculture as the mainstay of Nigeria’s economy.
The state’s chairman of the association, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Magaji Rimin Gado disclosed this an an interview with New Nigerian in  his office, where he announced that Kano AFAN is gradually putting the farmers on to the right and profitable farming direction, and assured that plans are underway to see that farmers in Kano are always multiplying their crop productions without losses.
He emphasized that since their election into office, more plans have been done to assist farmers in various ways despite the many challenges facing the association.
The Kano AFAN chairman thanked the entire farmers of the state for rallying round the association, and urged them to support it’s plans for better faming occupation.
Alhaji Abdulrasheed Rimin Gado lamented that in the year 2017,  AFAN had worked seriously for the unity of the farmers and for the best documentation of all the registered farmers, when a full farmers directory was duly compiled in order to have farmers data base for speedy implementation of programmes this season.
In conclusion, Rimin Gado disclosed that more developmental programmes would be carried out  before the commencement of the 2018 rainy season, while the association is ready to provides all the necessary farming support  to the farmers in collaboration  with different bodies that are directly related  to farming according to the level of each farmer or group of farmers without bias.
