Fintiri Sympathizes With Victims Of Tanker Fire Disaster

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has reached out with words of encouragement to victims of the fire disaster which destroyed shops at the PZ Roundabout market in the state capital, Yola.

This was contained in a statement signed by Humwashi Wonosikou, Press Secretary to the Governor.

“I feel saddened by the news of the disaster. My heart goes out to those who were affected,” Fintiri said.

The governor however thanked God for sparing the lives of the victims, and urged them to take heart and have hope in God that their business will experience a comeback.

“Do not see the unfortunate incident as the end of the road,” Fintiri told the affected shop owners.

It would be recalled that a fuel tanker had fallen on its side on Monday morning at the PZ Roundabout and spilled its content.

The spilled petrol had caught fire and spread to the makeshift shops by the streetside at the famous PZ Roundabout which is also popularly called Roundabout Mai doki.
