Federal Polytechnic Daura in Katsina State has matriculated third set of its 625 students for 2023/2024 session.
The Ceremony conducted at Sports Complex of the Polytechnic in Daura attracted Parents and other well wishers.
In his address at the occasion,
Rector of the College Professor Aliyu Mamman said the School has total of 1,195 students In its 16 NBTE approved National Diploma Programmes .
Professor Mamman who congratulated the matriculating students for securing admission said the aimed of the programmes was to prepare the mindset of the newly admitted students to work towards inculcation of sound moral character and achievement of academic excellence.
He explained that, the School secured about 300 bed apace at separate hostel for male and female students in DauraTown. adding that, ” we also secured two Buses to take care of students Transportation needs within and
outside Daura.”
Professor Aliyu Mamman urged
DEAN students Affairs to start all arrangements for the smooth take off of the students union activities with effect from the 2023/2024 academic session.
In a vote of thanks, the DEAN students affairs, Alhaji Muhammad Sale Gaskiya warned the students to desist from any act that, would tarnish their Image and called on the Students to be Good Ambassadors of the school, wherever they found themselves.
Alhaji Sale Gaskiya assured that the school management would do every thing possible to Improve the Students Welfare.
The students were administered the oath of office by the legal adviser to the school.
