Former Reps Member Hon. Shehu Bawa popularly known as ABG has bagged 2022 Sports Legendary Award for the North West Geopolitical Zone.
In a congratulatory letter signed by CEO of Privilege Magazine, Bobai Victor Mathew, a copy of which was sent to this newspaper, it was explained that the ex Federal legislator was chosen amongst other shortlisted candidates for the award in recognition of his various youth empowerment and development strides.
Mathew in the letter described ABG who is New NIgeria People’s Party (NNPP) Kaduna North House of Reps flagbearer for 2023 general election, as an icon of hope for the youth, adding that many development programmes of ABG, particularly in areas of sports and infrastructure development and above all, providing vocation for teeming youth population, has not gone unnoticed by the magazine and other stakeholders.

” We have always known you could even do more given your hard work commitment and dedication towards improving lives of youth.
” We have seen your works and have followed your accomplishment and can’t think of anyone deserving this award in our dear state than you.
” You have indeed set good example for others to emulate and also wish you success in your contest under NNPP for Kaduna North House of Reps,” the statement added.
It would be recalled that, Hon. Shehu Bawa is from a sporting loving home, where the family used to have ABG Football Club that once housed young talented boys who have made names for themselves in football profession.
