The President TY Buratai Football Academy, Chairman Sarkin Yakin Garkuwa Foundation Engr Hassan Mohammed Sarkin Yakin Garkuwan Keffi, Matawallen Arewa on Wednesday, commiserated with the Yusufari Emirate Council over the death of Mahmud Zanna Zakariya (Mawus) Village Head of Bulamadu.
“I join the good people of Yusufari to commiserate with the Yusufari emirate on the painful death of the revered monarch who served his people meritoriously and built bridges of friendship and goodwill across the emirate,” Matawallen Arewa said in a statement.
According to him, “The death of the monarch is also a personal loss to my own family which has a strong bond with the great Yusufari emirate under which I am a son of the Local Government.
“On behalf of my family, I condole with the people Bulamadu and Yusufari Emirate Council and the immediate family of the Village Head of Bulamadu Mahmu Zanna Zakariya (Mawus). May the Almighty Allah grant the monarch Al-Jannah Firdaus, and comfort his family and the entire people of the Yusufari Emirate.”
