She highlighted the credentials of both potential nominees, Hamisu Abubakar Mai Rago and Jafaru Sani, noting that they are dedicated APC members who contributed significantly to the party’s success in the previous election.

Gidado stressed that the selection should be seen as a matter of destiny and divine will.

She emphasized the need for unity and understanding among politicians during this time, cautioning politicians to desist from spreading falsehood against the governor Uba Sani on the issue.

Hajiya Bilkisu Gidado described as a  strong loyalist and supporter of Governor Uba Sani, urged all APC members to rally behind the party’s chosen nominee, irrespective of their political zone.

She underlined that the goal is to foster party unity and benefit the state. Recognizing the former governor’s achievements in urban development and governance, Gidado acknowledged the widespread support for his national appointment.

She called upon the state’s citizens to pray for and support Governor Uba Sani’s policies, ensuring that they would be inclusive and non-discriminatory.

As the conversations around ministerial replacement continue, Hajiya Bilkisu Gidado’s words underscore the significance of maintaining harmony within the party and supporting the decisions made collectively.
