Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State on Monday, officially commissioned the direct Power Supply from Government House to Yusuf Dantsoho Hospital in Tudun Wada.
The Governor’s initiative is to help in providing constant power supply to the public hospital which functions have been reduced due to insufficient power.
Direct power supply from the Government House guarantees 24-hour electricity for the Yusuf Dantsoho Hospital.
This enables safer surgery, improves comfort for patients and staff and saves the hospital expense on diesel.
Yusuf Dantsoho hospital is also the host institution for the Kaduna State College of Midwifery, Tudun-Wada.
He said, students of the college will also benefit from the constant power.
In his remarks, Dr. Paul Dogo, the Commissioner for Health thanked Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai for directing that Yusuf Dantsoho Hospital be placed on direct power, to consolidate on the improvements being made to the general hospital.
Senior Kaduna State Government officials were at the Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital to commission the facilities.
