Education Is Sure Way To Success For Rigasa Community  – Traditional Ruler

The Mai Unguwa of Abuja Road Rigasa Kaduna, Alhaji Aliyu Nuhu has disclosed that there is a need for people to try and enroll children into schools because acquiring education is the only way for any community to succeed in all aspects of life.

Alhaji Aliyu stated this during a courtesy visit to Rigasa Action and Awareness Forum (RAAF) weekly congress and special Sallah Walima at Government Day Secondary School (GSS) Makarfi Road, Rigasa Kaduna.

Mai Unguwa Aliyu, who also holds the title Sarkan Yakin Sabon Gari Rigasa, added that education is the major key to every aspect of the world and it is necessary to ensure that it’s being provided in every community, especially among the youth of Rigasa district.

According to him, RAAF as a pressure group in the society, has been playing an important role in the education sector by creating awareness in the community and providing children with support or easy access to education to ensure the elimination of illiteracy in the community.

He said, “association issue is a matter of patience and courage. Anyone who wishes to take the leadership will be faced with various challenges, but if he endures, he will definitely achieve what he wants because all leadership of various associations or fora are all about struggling and all because of the people. By God’s grace, we will keep on doing our best and surely bring in what belongs to our community.

The Mai Unguwa of Abuja Road, and Sarkin Yakin of Sabon Gari Rigasa, advised people of the area to ensure they enroll their children into schools for proper education and to even those who are not their children, because life cannot be possible without education being the salt of the world.

Earlier in his remarks at the event, RAAF President, Malam Aminu Halilu Umar, explained that the meeting was organized for the purpose of applauding the effort of the community members and to boost the confidence on them over their selfless hard work in the area for a successful development.

He added that, Rigasa district used to be known as an area that was struggling to survive, but now it has became an area that is blessed with potential citizens whose  contributions make a lot of significance in the state and also making the community proud in the state.

RAAF President therefore,  thanked all members of the community, who had the opportunity to attend the meeting, including  former leaders of the  association, who founded the forum, its members and the entire community of the district.
