“Another abducted, as Bandits attack community

No fewer than two persons have been killed, while one was abducted in Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
It was gathered men suspected to be Fulani herders yesterday, also killed Ohanaeze Ndigbo youth leader’s father during the attack at Ishiagu Community in Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
While narrating his ordeal,the National Youth leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo,Mazi Damian Okafor stated that the Suspected Herdsmen Lunched the attack on Sunday which claimed two lives including his father.
“Suspected herdsmen attacked Ishiagu community again, killed my father, one other person and abducted one”, he said.
Reacting to the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Onome Onovwakpoyeya who confirmed the incident, explained that it was carried out by suspected Fulani herdsmen, from where two lives were lost, while others sustained injuries.
`Two persons were reportedly killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
One was shot in the head through his windscreen and the other murdered in his farm with his throat cut,” PPRO said.
