In most of our societies nowadays, well meaning citizens often establish charity foundations that would be a channel towards assisting the needy and less privileged at both rural and urban settlements.
And some of the charity groups or foundations join hands with other non-governmental organisations at both domestic and foreign locations, to embark on community services that are solely related to humanitarian assistance.
In this respect, it is necessary to applaud the existence of Billami Educational and Charity Foundation Hadejia, which was single handedly established by a patriotic citizen, Dr. Isah Billami Hadejia, a retired civil servant, a business tycoon and large scale farmer in order to use the little he is earning in assisting the less privileged of all categories.
Billami Educational and Charity Foundation Hadejia was established in the year 2021 and under the period of close to two years, the foundation has done commendable and humanitarian programmes in both Western and Islamic education, which remain recognized.
Speaking to New Nigerian Correspondent in Hadejia on Sunday, Dr. Isah Billami disclosed that, “I decided to establish a foundation that would assist the needy and other categories of people especially in the area of education at both Islamic and modern system, to ensure that even the less privileged would afford good education, and from what we have gathered, our foundation is making excellent progress”.
Furthermore, Dr. Hadejia announced that although the foundation is yet to get support from other sources, aid is being offered by some of his friends and close associates, that usually enable good charity assistance, which is another landmark achievement.
He assured that in the near future, Billami Educational and Charity Foundation Hadejia, would extend its helping hand to other vital sectors in order to meet the desires and goals for the organisation’s establishment.
He thanked all those who are offering helping hands towards the success of the foundation and called for establishment of more charity organisations at the grassroots levels.
