The President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Daniel Okoh, has enjoined Nigerians to keep hope alive for a new beginning in the country by coming together in unity.

Speaking in his Easter message on Sunday, he also urged Nigerians not to despair with the present challenges but to strive together for the progress of the country.

According to him, Nigerians have faced many challenges in recent years ranging from insecurity and economic instability to social and political unrest that have seriously affected the people,  assuring that hope is not lost for the country to emerge as a great one.

He opined that just as Christ rose from the dead and brought new life to the world, he believes  that Nigerians too can rise above their challenges and start afresh.

According  to the CAN President, “This Easter, let us all come together and renew our commitment to building a better Nigeria. Let us embrace the power that gives a new beginning and work together to create a brighter future for ourselves and our children. Let us put aside our differences and come together in unity, just as Christ’s resurrection brought together people from all walks of life.”

He also urged Nigerians to extend a hand of love and kindness to the less privileged, saying that they should remember them in the society.
