As the 2022 Ekiti State gubernatorial election gradually approaches, a House of Assembly aspirant for Ado Constituency I, Mr Ayodeji Adarabierin, has urged Christians to use the Easter period to pray for peace in Nigeria and particularly Ekiti State.
Adarabierin stressed that the prayer is needed in view of the unabated rising insecurity situation across the country.
He however, donated campaign materials to the Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji election campaign team, with a call on the electorate to vote for continuity during the poll.
Adarabierin who is vying for a seat in the state house of Assembly  on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC, while delivering the materials to the ward Chairmen in his constituency expressed optimism  that the party’s flag bearer would coast home to victory because of his antecedents.
In addition to the Solar Powered Mega phones earlier distributed by Mr Adarabierin, BAO’s Posters, election ballot specimen and caps were some of the campaign materials he  recently donated to his constituency.
He urged the party’s members to work hard and mobilise eligible voters for Mr Oyebanji saying that he was the best choice for the state
According to him, the ballot samplings were donated to educate the electorate on how and where the All Progressive Congress APC logo could be found.
In the spirit of festivity, the Ado Ekiti born political juggernaut gave gifts to Christians in his constituency for Easter celebration
It would be recalled that the House of Assembly hopeful also gave gifts and beverages to Muslims in his constituency in the spirit of Ramadan
Speaking earlier, the APC ward 1 Chairman in Ado Local Government Mr Kayode Oladimeji,  who is also the Chairman of Chairmen in the council Area while receiving  the materials appreciated Mr Adarabierin for the gesture
He said donations would go a long way to aid the campaign of the Party’s governorship candidate and appealed to electorate in the state to vote enmass for Mr. Oyebanji in order to sustain the developmental strides of Governor Kayode Fayemi’s led administration
Oladimeji urged party members to keep their permanent voters cards while calling on those who had registered but had yet to collect their permanent voters cards to do so.
