The immediate past Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, at the weekend advised the new Aare Ona Kakanfo, Otunba Gani Adams to do more for the Yoruba race.

Mimiko gave the advise during a chat with journalists  in Oyo after the installation of Adams as the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land.

The former Governor while commending the Alaafin for making the right choice said, Adams has always displayed quintessential patriotism, which distinguished him from the pack.

According to him, the new Aare Ona Kakanfo was a right choice at the right time, saying he was a worthy son of the Yoruba race and Nigeria.

He therefore urged him not to relent in his commitment to national growth and security, which he has always shown much commitment in the past.

He expressed hope that Adams would get the needed support from his home state of Ondo, especially from the traditional rulers in a way that will bring national peace to the Yoruba race as well as Nigeria.
