Court Adjourns Case Between C O P Vs Alhaji Bright To Jan 24

A case between Commissioner of Police and Alhaji Abubakar Iliyasu (Alhaji Bright) has been adjourned to 24th January 2018 for the continuation of  the defence hearing.

Alhaji Abubakar Iliyasu (Bright) is standing on criminal charges and theft before Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Chediya Road G.R.A., Zaria, Kaduna State.

The case was for the continuation of definate defence hearing, while the prosecution made an application for the adjournment to enable him get the FIR from the Senior State Counsel who is handling the case.

The application was granted since the defence counsel Barrister GM Sadiq didn’t object the application.
In a related development the Chief Magistrate Court Chediya, G.R.A., Zaria has also adjourned a case between Commissioner of Police and Alhaji Yunusa Ali, Shuaibu Shugaban Samari and Alhaji Abubakar Iliyasu (Bright) who are standing trial on criminal conspiracy, trespass and theft to 24th  January, 2018 for the continuation of hearing.

.Before the adjournment the pw4 Inspector  Kipoye Jonah of the Nigerian Police  gave testimony of what happened when they received letter of complain from the nominal complain lawyer.

The court adjourned the case to 24/1/2018 for the continuation of hearing.
