Federal and State Governmenst have been tasked to come up will measure that will stop Almajiri system and street begging in the North.
A Nigeria Trekker Abubakar Umar who is trekking against terrorism, Insurgency, corruption, Drugs abuse and sentiment        made the called in Kaduna at the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) secretarial.
 
According to him, almajiri and street begging which he said is been carried out mostly by Muslims, is not part of Islamic
teaching hence the need to stop it.
He stressed the need for parents who are in the habit of sending their children as almajiri and street hawking to rather send them to acquire education and religious knowledge that will help them become better citizens in the society.
Umar who trekked in support of President Mohammadu Buhari Victory in the 2015 presidential elections said he now trekked for world peace and against social vices.
 
The 44 years old man also enjoined Nigerians Youths to take their Education seriously and shunned all kind of social vices.
He advised parents especially in the North to allow girl child to be educated to become professional in different fields in order to contribute their own quota to the development of their immediate community.
The Trekker who said was involved in different kind of social vices in the past, is now a father of two and he is using his experience to advise Nigeria youths on the danger of it.
According to him, he has cover over 2000 km now in his campaign and covered nine states, these include; Bauchi, Kano,
Gombe, Zamfara, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kaduna among others.
Umar while calling Nigerians to support the President Buhari administration in order to ensure good governance commended the Kaduna State Governor Nasirn El-rufa for banning street begging and hawking in the state.
