Barring any change in strategy, former vice president Atiku Abubakar has mapped out concrete five legal evidences to present to the Supreme Court in the ongoing legal tussle  on the 2023 presidential election won by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Abubakar lost round one at presidential election petition tribunal when the legal luminaries hearing the case struck out his case and affirmed the election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The people’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flag bearer took his case overseas by questioning the authenticity of the Chicago State University’s (CSU) certificate presented by his political foe while standing for Nigeria’s number one seat election.

It was a win for Atiku when the U.S. District Court in Northern Illinois ordered the CSU to immediately release Tinubu’s academic record within 48 hours.

The development came after a U.S. judge, Nancy Maldonado adopted all the ruling of Magistrate Judge Jeffery Gilbert of the American District Court.

Tinubu had earlier objected to Atiku’s request for making his academic record public, saying it was his private affair and had no relevant in the ongoing case at the election tribunal.

The five prayers of Atiku before the magistrate court which he intends to use in nailing Tinubu at the Supreme Court are;

An example of CSU diploma issued in 1979.

Tinubu Diploma issued in 1979.

An example of a CSU diploma that contains same font, seal, signature, words as Tinubu’s issued in 1979.

CSU documents certified and produced by Jamar Orr, an associate general counsel at the CSU at the time.

Atiku wants his lawyers to depose CSU officials about the authenticity of Tinubu’s academic records.

Atiku plans to transfer the the collected evidence to supreme court for use in the ongoing election petition case.
