‘Capsfeed Will Assist Nigeria Overcome Challenges Of Processing  Agricultural Products, Sales’

General Manager of Capsfeed limited, Mrs. Bibiana Odekunle on Tuesday declared that the agro allied and feed equipment solution provider is ready to assist in processing of most of Nigeria’s agricultural products value chain and sell in other forms.
Mrs Odekunle said this while addressing newsmen in Ibadan on the activities of the agro allied and feed equipment solution provider firm.
The General Manager stated that this was part of firm’s efforts towards contributing her quota to the agribusiness and value chain in Nigeria agricultural industry, alleviate poverty and create employment in sustenance of the economy with the introduction of the equipment into the Nigerian market.
While noting that the company’s efforts are geared towards assuring that the nation overcome one of the greatest challenges facing the Nigerian agribusiness which is how to process most agricultural products and sell in another form,
“All our efforts are geared towards assuring that we overcome one of the greatest challenges facing the Nigerian Agribusiness which is how to process most agricultural products and  sell in another form. We intensify our efforts to help in reducing of poverty in Nigeria”she said.
Mrs. Odekunle stressed that “most of the equipment components can stand alone as a production unit which can serve as cottage industries and an avenue for employment generation”
“Private bodies,local government,government parastatals,research institutes with adopted villages can effectively use these to empower the Nigerian rural farmers while bringing the problem of glut and waste of agric products to an end”.
Emphasizing that the firms equipment can bring about “agricultural value chain, empowerment generation, poverty alleviation,increase in the nation’s GDP and export driven mechanism, increase the standard of living of our farmers and reducing several social vices in our society” she added that “when value addition is boosted, farmers will be encouraged to do more in planting and consequently increasing production output and food sustainability is guaranteed”.
On how Capsfeed provides for farmer’s needs, the GM said “of a recent, when we discovered that the major problem of most Oke Ogun Soya bean farmers is the threshing of their soya bean, Capsfeed has made a move to provide a threshing machine that is capable of threshing 10tons of soya beans in one hour.
“This also applies to the rice mill machine capsfeed has provided which can polish and destones up to 90 per cent rice seeds”
