President Muhammad Buhari was among hundreds of Muslims that attended Eid el Kabir prayer at Kofar Arewa in Daura metropolis with a heavy tight security to ensure hitch free prayer.
Addressing the gathering shortly after the prayer, the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar appealed to Nigerians to embark on prayer for the success of Buhari’s administration.
Alhaji Faruk Umar described President Buhari as a visionary leader who sacrificed his life to the service of the Nation.
The Emir said Nigerians should thank God for having President Buhari, considering the nature he met the country.
Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar explained that President Muhammadu Buhari need prayer to complete his tenure successfully.
Meanwhile, the Chief Imam of Masara Juma’at mosque in Daura, Malam Hassan Yusuf has charged Muslims to emulate the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH.)
Malam Hassan Yusuf made the call shortly after he led two raka’at prayers at Mallamawa primary school, Daura.
He spoke on the type of animals to be slauhgtered.pointing out that, the gathering was a sign of unity among Muslim Umma.
Malam Hassan prayed for the sustainance of peace and stability in the state and nation in general.
