As part of its corporate socially responsiblity,  the Bright Future Jamb & SSCE Training Center has held an iftar outreach  at Makarantar Almajrai Na Malam Murtala at Kabala Doki, Kaduna.
The Chairman/CEO of the Center, Muhammad Umar Danfulani said more than 100 almajiris were given iftar package of food, water and date  to break their fast.
He said the gesture was borne out of the desire of the pioneers of the training center to play its social responsibility as they strongly believe that this will support and uplift the community and also pave way for the training of responsible citizens.
Umar Danfulani explained that it is part of the vision and mission of Bright Future Jamb & SSCE Training Centre as a standard-based educational centre that was established in 2021.
According to him, the center is a trailblazing educational hub, where intellectuals work together to specifically prepare secondary and post-secondary students for JAMB, WAEC & NECO examinations.
He maintained that the training center is an initiative which aims at addressing the massive failure that is being recorded yearly statewide and nationwide in the mentioned national examinations.
“We had a good start last year with tremendous success rate of 65%, which put some of our students at the score of 266, 230, 217 etc. in 2021 JAMB examination.”
On the Iftar outreach, he said it is the first of its kind out of the numerous humanitarian activities being carried out by the training center such as organizing career talks, ICT training and JAMB clinic.
He added that this outreach in particular has been initiated with the intent of invoking the help of Almighty God for the success of their students in the up coming Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams.
Adding further, he said, “The most inspiring thing about this particular outreach is how fellow Muslim and Christian students together with the staff of the training center, family and friends  made huge contributions to support the project.”
In his remarks, the Guidance and Counsellor of the training center, Mr. Garba Bakabe spoke on the importance of education, both Western and religious as a key to self and national development.
He also encouraged the students to work harder  to attain the peak of education.
The ICT Instructor, Mr Ismail Waziri explained  the importance of ICT skills as a source of income.
He encouraged the students to learn computer skills  to equip themselves with ICT skills which could be a source of income in the future.
He gave example of himself as a young boy, who learnt about computer and now using the skills as a source of income, while he is still at his first year in the university.
“The Almajiri school was founded by the late Alaramma Muhammad in 1970.
“This almajiri school is unlike other almajiri schools as they have embraced Western education as well as Islamic education in order to achieve all round knowledge of life. One of the Almajiri students who spoke in English, proved that the  students can speak fluent English.”
The beneficiaries together with their teachers expressed gratitude to the training center for its kind gesture and said it would go a long way in motivating them to strive for more education.
