Bill To Establish Federal University Of Agriculture and Technology In Oke Ogun Passes First Reading In Senate  -Buhari

Chairman Senate Committee on ICT, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has hinted that the bill to establish Federal University of Agriculture and Technology in Oke Ogun area of Oyo state has passed first reading in the Senate.
Senator Buhari who dropped this hint also said the bill to establish the Federal Polythecnic, Ogbomoso is slated for first reading on 25th April, 2017 when the senate resumes from break.
According to the Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial district,who sponsored the bill,“it is pertinent to note that Oyo North Senatorial District has no federal institution before now”
He stressed that it was in fulfillment of its electioneering
campaign to facilitate federal institution to the Oyo North Senatorial district.
“This is another promise kept. We want to appeal to the constituents to continue supporting the senator and pray all these bills and other bills sponsored by him scale through and get assent from the executive”.
