Gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) in Bauchi, Senator Halliru Dauda Jika has expressed his remorseful regrets for the inconveniences his absence at Wednesday’s Gubernatorial Candidates Debate might have caused to his millions of supporters, both within and outside the state.

Senator Halliru Dauda Jika (Dokajin Bauchi) explained that he was equal to none of the governorship candidates in the state in terms of commitments to democracy as, according to him, none of them had adequate blue print and complete readiness to both deliver and positively transform Bauchi state.

He was Wednesday communicating his apology to organizers of debate, the Bauchi Election Group 2023, comprising NUJ, NIPR, NBA, SPSP, NMA and MHWUN, assuring that he will today Thursday, 26th January, 2023 conduct a live program on the entire media stations and their social media handles in Bauchi namely FRCN, (Globe FM) Bauchi, Albarka FM Bauchi, BRC Bauchi, NTA Bauchi by 7:00PM – 8:00PM.

Director Media and Publicity Dokaji Campaign Council, Comrade Haruna Mohammed said in a statement Wednesday that organizers of the debate will bear the NNPP witness that it was its candidate, Halliru Dauda Jika, among the candidates that made the greatest financial commitments to the cause of organizing the debate.

“In fact, we have the privilege information that a certain candidate very well known for his stinginess did not contribute even a single Kobo! Unfortunately, an unintended communication gap occurred as he was caught up in the “cobweb of role conflict”; a development which is closely associated with his position in the Senate”.

Comrade Haruna Mohammed stated that there was a delay in communicating the invitation to the debate, Whereas Dokajin Bauchi received the invitation, he had already made commitment to attend another function of an overriding national importance.

Comrade Haruna Mohammed therefore reminded the electorates in Bauchi that there are really only two gubernatorial candidates in the state, Dokaji and others, as others include incompetent democrat, ill-experienced civilian-military contesting democratic seat!!

He said the electorates should note that the present Bauchi state requires a leader who has both the competence and willingness to deliver, stressing that none of the candidates, but Dokaji has both the qualities, and called on the teaming electorates to rally round him and vote for him en-mass, saying “Voting Jika into power is the greatest service we can offer to the state at this material time”.

It would be recalled that the organized Bauchi State Gubernatorial Election Debate held Wednesday at the Development Exchange Centre (DEC), Bauchi had the NNPP gubernatorial candidate, Senator Halliru Dauda Jika (Dokajin Bauchi) in absenteeism for reason best known to him.
