By; AYO OJEDOKUN, Lagos

Ageless Gospel singer, Pastor J.A, Adelakun (Ayewa Int’l), has ministered to the nation, calling on both its leaders and citizens to embrace God’s intervention on the present situation of the country.

He declared this while ministering at the grand finale of the Christ Redemption Biible Church World-wide (CRBC) 26th, Convention Thanksgiving Service held at the churc’s  headquarters, Oluwalogbon Street, Ketu, Lagos on Sunday.

Speaking and illustrating on the Theme of the convention, “Enough is Enough”  he noted the topic as powerful, which must be used by all to have  breakthrough both as a nation and as citizens.

According to Ayewa who strongly believes in the nation bouncing back economically and politically stronger and better in the nearest future, enjoined its leaders to desist from absolute corruption and other illegal vices that can destroy or bring a set back to the country,(Nigeria).

“And this we all must put heads together instead of condemning one another,” he advised.

He further explained that for the country to start experiencing “Enough is Enough”  of all the pathetic situation it finds itself, it must call for prayers/praises across the country, before  it can start  experiencing good old days, “when the Awos, Zik, Balewa of this world were faithful to their nation then.'” Ayewa noted.

He  dedicated the church policy document for 2024, as he was pleaded by the congregation to render one of his evergreen Gospel songs titled, ‘Amona Tete Wa” dazzling the congregation to a dancing galore.

Earlier in the day, the General Superintendent of CRBC World-wide, Pastor John Oluwadare  congratulated and hailed the turnout of the members and Christians who  attended the convention, saying the theme,  ‘Enough is Enough” shall put an end to poverty, sickness, bareness, sadness and lack in all of their lives.

On the new church policy document 2024, he said it is good  it’s happening now.

” As it will enable all members including himself to express thier righs as at when necessary,” Oluwadare added.

But for Pastor (Mrs). Martha Oluwadare, she described it as a wonderful convention better attended by women who  dedicated  time in praying for its success.

“Today, glory and honour goes to God Almighty for giving us a fulfilled convention,” she added.

On the role of women  both at home and to the nation, she said that women are mothers as, “Mary was to Our Lord Jesus Christ, so women must be accorded major roles in the church, home and by extension to the nation.

“To the First Lady in the country, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, she must continue to lead and be ready to listen to both the privileged and less privileged ones in the society. Also she should try to replicate the ‘One day governor’ she did while in office as first lady of Lagos State and that as one day president of the country”.

For the convention chairman, Pastor Kehinde Odeniyan, this year’s convention has been   successful,  having led to the billing of the Theme.

“Therefore our glory and thanksgiving is for God, who had made this possible at this period of time,” concluded the convention chairman.
