Ahead of the upcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, the Arewa Women for Tinubu Movement has appealed with critical stakeholders in the country to support the ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his quest of transforming the country for a brighter future.
Speaking to newsman in Kaduna on Wednesday during a town hall meeting, the President of the movement, Hajiya Sa’adatu Garba Dogon Bauchi said that Tinubu remains the only presidential candidate that has the country at heart.
Sa’adatu also described Tinubu as a man of Integrity and a bridge builder, saying that he has passion to support women businesses and their political ambitions.
She added that the gathering was to seek support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu from the participants over his ambition to be the next president of the country in 2023.
Hajiya Saadatu also pleaded with delegates to consider interest of the country first by voting credible persons that can bring positive development during parties primaries.
Furthermore, she advised them not to prioritize money ahead of the rights of the aspirants that have track records that can be visibly seen.
She said, “the issue of delegates I can advice, they should not look for money, they should search for the right people, because this money is going to finish and they should look ahead at our children and grandchildren”
She explained that, the success of the presidential aspirants under the platform of APC is widely available especially on how he transformed Lagos during his tenure as governor.
In his remarks, Senator Sani Saleh said the gathering was to inform the participants on the need to appeal to the APC delegates to vote for TInubu.
He added that among all the presidential aspirants in the country, there is no one more qualified to deal with the current crisis than Bola Tinubu, who has done it in the past, despite the rejection by the then President and everyone can testify to that because he exhibited braveness and intelligence on the field of leadership.
The gathering brought together women from various northern states and other stakeholders with the aim to achieve the desired objective.
