APC Suspends  Kaduna  Councilors Forum  Chairman  Over Alleged  Anti-party Activities, Death Of  Head Mistress

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Afaka Ward of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State has suspended the Councilor representing Afaka Ward, Hon. Auwal S. Mohammed over alleged anti party activities and having his name linked to the death of the Head Teacher of Model Primary School Sabon Afaka.

The suspension was conveyed in a letter sent to the councilor and  made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Sunday  October 23, 2022. 

The letter said that, “The issue has plunged the APC into public embarrassment, disrepute, hatred and clearly has adverse effects on our party, community and our government”.

The letter further stated that, “With reference to Article (21) “A” (ii) of the APC constitution 2014 as amended “Anti-Party activities or any conduct, which is likely to embarrassed or have adverse effect on the party or bring the party in to hatred, contempt, ridicule, or disrepute”.

“That from today, Sunday being the 23rd of Oct 2022, the leadership of APC Afaka Ward unanimously resolved to suspend Auwal Sani Mohammed, the Councilor of Afaka Ward from the party, pending the investigation on the matter from the constituted authority”.

With this letter therefore, Auwal S. Mohammed is barred from all activities of APC till this suspension is lifted.

The chairman of the party in Afaka Ward, Auwal Adamu and Comr. Ismail Yahaya, APC Secretary,  signed the  suspension letter  and copied to the local government and state secretariat of the party.

 The Speaker of Kaduna State House Assembly was also copied.
