The Coordinator APC National Stakeholders Supporters Forum (ANSSF) Diaspora wing, Honourable Humble Eleazer, has expressed shock over a purported letter dissolving his office and his removal as the coordinator of ANSSF in the Diaspora.

A letter signed by Hon. Yusuf Musa Ardo, National Leader, of APC National Stakeholder Supporters Forum, a support group for APC Party, dated June 30, 2022, accused Hon. Eleazer of anti-forum activities, including disagreement with the office of the National Leader  and lack of accountability.

Reacting to the purported dismissal as Chairman of the Diaspora Wing, Hon. Humble Eleazer said he had resigned from the post on the 16th of June 2022, the decision that terminated the partnership they were in with the forum in Nigeria.

“I as the coordinator, consulted with the Diasporans who left their countries of residence and came back to Nigeria with me and they suggested we leave the partnership, and that informed my decision to resign my appointment on 16th June 2022 and to terminate our partnership with the group in Nigeria as well”

He continued, “what we saw when we came back, was not the agreed principle that laid the foundation of our partnership, and we owe all Diasporans and Nigerians integrity abd honesty. When we noticed the atmosphere wasn’t conducive and genuine to operate together, we decided to sever the ties.

He, therefore, urged all concerned Nigerians especially in the Diaspora to disregard any letter flying around stating the dissolution and admonished all APC Stakeholders in the Diaspora to continue to play a crucial role in the development of Nigeria.

On her part, the National Women Leader of the APC National Stakeholders Forum, Dr. Vivian Sonny-Nsirim, who was also removed from her post, distanced herself from the group and pledged to continue playing her patriotic part in developing the country, especially the 2023 National Elections.

“ I was not given an appointment letter for the office of national women leader” the letter that they wrote, I’m not aware of it and I have since withdrawn myself from the forum. I am an Advocate for women empowerment, development and inclusion in politics, these I have been doing through my NGO for the past several years. I will not relent in my activities, irrespective of false allegations and criticism used against women to stop us to achieving our goals.

The APC National Stakeholders Supporter’s Forum was in the second week of May 2022, has its last meeting that was witnessed by Nigerian and international journalists at Sheraton Hotel Abuja where the Diaspora wing was inaugurated with the aim to mobilize Nigerians in Diaspora towards a successful 2023 general election.
