The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Bauchi, Hon. Abdulrazaz Nuhu Zaki has berated the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari for performing below expectation in its seven-year rule, saying the old man has a destructive stewardship.

Hon. Nuhu Zaki explained that the Buhari-led administration has nothing to show to Nigerians other than destructive administration beclouded by trends of insecurity ranging from Boko Haram, armed robbery and banditry, kidnapping and abduction, political assassination, among others

Zaki while interacting with journalists in Bauchi on Sunday, noted that the seven-year Buhari administration has subjected over 80 percent of Nigerians into abject poverty, unprecedented unemployment and educational bastardization coupled with depressed economy.

Commissioner Zaki, a former NASS member expressed regret that Buhari ignited the amalgamation of three political into one entity called APC, only to retrogressively retard the country and make it a conduit pipe for siphoning public funds, and subjecting its masses into untold hardships.

The PDP chieftain noted that its more worsening of the insecurity problems in the country when it reached to the stage of attacking the president himself, querying “How could one say there is rule of law when the convoy of a leader could be ambushed by hoodlums in his own state?”.

“The insecurity situation in the country and the inability of the president to steer the ship of the state, coupled with the fear of the unknown has made Buhari enthusiastically wanting to leave the stage and retire to his farms as he nowadays always being taking about”, Zaki faulted the president.

He therefore drew the attention of Nigerians, preparedly eligible voters, now that the e-day is fast approaching not to allow themselves to be lured again into unpredictable political venture of bringing back the APC into power as, according to him, doing that would tantamount to a catastrophic venture of blending Nigerians into quandary.

Commissioner Nuhu Zaki recalled the old good days of PDP administration in the country when Nigerians witnessed revolutionary developmental trends in virtually all sectors of the economy, saying it is only PDP that could rectify the irregularities perpetuated by the Buhari-led administration.

According to him, voting an APC presidential candidate in the likes of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is just a detrimental move from frying fun into the fire, saying Tinubu is not even physically to run any organization no matter small, let alone a vast heterogeneous country like Nigeria.

He stressed the need for Nigerians to give the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar the change to see his stewardship of the country, saying “Atiku has the requisite experience of leadership, having been number two man at the inception of this republic in 1999 running into eight consecutive years.

On how to face the opposition APC which their PDP government dethroned in Bauchi in 2019 polls, Zaki said none of the governorship aspirants in the state could march with Governor Bala Mohammed in the forthcoming general elections, describing aspirants of other political parties in the state as mere ‘lame ducks’.

Zaki also recalled that the last APC administration which they dethroned in the state wasted its first term of four years without executing a single project for the benefit of the people that voted them into power, asking “Are you saying the people should make the same mistake of bringing back APC into power in Bauchi and by extension Nigeria, this is ridiculous”.
