Analytical Laboratory Will Provide Scientific Solution To Research/Development – Adamawa Dep Gov

Adamawa State Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta has commended the Federal Government for building  the Analytical Laboratory in Adamawa State,  saying the project is a sustainable way of providing scientific solution to research and development

 Farauta, who stated this on Monday, at the commissioning of the Analytical Laboratory build by the Federal Institute of Industrial Research for North-East said the state government is committed to payment of scholarship to students to support research and development in the education sector.

According to her, the FIntiri led administration has invested heavely in the area of education as well as award of scholarship to students in tertiary institutions to study science courses abroad.

Earlier, the Minister of Innovation Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji said the Analytical Laboratory would provide scientific conservation of food for export.

The minister, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Esuabana Asanye said the ministry is targeting developing the economy through science and technology for the economic prosperity of the region.

“The new office would develop technologies that promote the ideals of entrepreneurship development”

“It  would open up and boost farming and fishing as well as small and medium scale enterprise aimed at moving the the region forward”, she stated.

In her remarks, Dr Jummai Adamu, Director General Institute of Industrial Research pointed out that the institute will provide a platform for people to excel through impartation of innovative skills for job creation geared toward poverty reduction.
