The new Asuada of lsuada, Oba Oluwafemi Joël Adeluwoye has received a staff of office from the Governor of Ondo State, Arajunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) with calls on the community to rally necessary support for the monarch to achieve prime success.
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner of Commerce and industry, Otunba Timilehin Adelegbe said the approval of the monarch was sequel to his overwhelming support and as the popular choice of stakeholders in the community.
Governor Akeredolu how ever reiterated his earlier resolve that his government will not influence selection process to any vacant stool.
Hé however commended the people of isuada for allowing peace to reign during and after the selection of oba Adeluwoye
He also advised the new monarch to always work towards the economic, social and cultural transformation of the community.
Commissioner for Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. LoLa Fagbemi ln her own remark at the occasion said that thé procedure adopted in the selection of the new monarch conformed with the laid down process .
She called on other communities with vacant stools to emulate the people of lsuada Who adopted a process devoid of rancour and partiality in their selection.
Earlier in his welcome address, the caretaker chairman of Owo Local Government Area, Hon.Gani Omaluka congratulated the new monarch on his peaceful ascension describing the succession to isuada throne as”divine”.
He also described the reign of his Predecessor, late Oba Aladetanye who joined his ancestors on the 23rd June, 2016 as peaceful.
