The Jigawa State chairman of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Alhaji Idris Yau Mai Unguwa Jaga has opined that the agric sector would continue to receive boost in the state under the stewardship of Malam Umar Namadi.
He disclosed this in a chat with reporters in Dutse, the state capital, where he said that as agriculture remains the mainstay of the economy in Jigawa State, the present administration would give good support to the sector.
” We worked selflessly to actualize continuity in Jigawa State in order to ensure that agriculture receives boost under the administration of Malam Umar Namadi, and we are certain that economic progress would be another landmark achievement in the state”.
Alhaji Idris Yau Mai Unguwa Jaga added that All Farmers Association would continue to support Malam Umar Namadi’s administration and give counsel where necessary, and pray for successful commencement of this year’s farming season.
