Adamawa Police command arrest 11-man robbery gang

Adamawa State Police Command within three weeks of assumption of duty of Commissioner of police Musa Kimo has arrested 11-man robbery gang in the state.
The Commissioner of Police Musa Kimo said the command is up to the task of ensuring the state is free of crime and criminality, adding that the arrested suspects specialized in terrorizing residents of the state and its environs by robbing them  of their valuables.
Parading the suspect to newsmen in Yola Tuesday, Kimo assured robbers in the state that there is no hiding place for them, adding that the command has re-strategized  it operations by putting in place pungent measures to confront head-on all crimes and criminality in the state.
The Commissioner said the 11-man robbery syndicate who were arrested at various locations in the state includes Numan-Lafiya, Numan-Ngurore and Ngurore-Mayo-Belwa roads were over powered with superior fire power of the police  which led to the arrest.
Others arrested while perpetrating their heinous crime are Musa Usman, Ishaku Ibrahim, Hussaini Yahaya and Sani Suleiman as well as Bello Aliyu, Abubakar Adamu, and Isa Musa of Zing local government areas of Taraba state.
 
According to him, it,is not business as usual for robbers in the state, stressing that items recovered from the robbers includes 3 barrel gun, one locally made pistol revolver with four round of live ammunitions, one laptop computers,one I-Pad Tecno,three handsets,cash worth N343,500 among others.
 
He said his men intercepted and arrested Adamu Saidu, Muhammadu Anaruwa, Mohammed Sani as well as Hassan Danmanu all of Nyibango Vilage while some of the robbers escaped with bullet along Mayo-Ine road in the state.
