*says he is a dogged fighter

The Jagaban Jimeta, Sunny, Senator Ishaku Abbo (SIA) on Tuesday described him as a dogged fighter for the national assignment of the APC, if the party eventually zones the office to the North East.
In an exclusive interview with our reporter, Senator Abbo who was highly impressed by the doggedness, resilience, fighting spirit and determination of the Jagaban Jimeta, attested that he is highly impressed by the way he is going about his aspiration.
According to him, Moniedafe is not a “political push over” despite standing in the contest with several former governors, as well as former and serving Senators, who are very popular and influential in Nigerian politics.
Abbo extolled him as a very educated aspirant and has always been a party man, administrator per excellence.
He said that he is proud that someone from his state is contesting for the national chairmanship of their party.
While praying to God Almighty to make him the next party chairman that will consolidate the good work of the acting chairman, His Excellency l, Mai Mala Buni.
He said APC needs a unifier now more than ever and the Jagaban has South South ancestral linkages, born and bred up in the heart of Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area and married an Adamawa woman.
“There is no better candidate the party needs at this time than him,” he added.
He therefore, called on all Adamawa State APC National Assembly members, State House of Assembly members, zonal, state, local and ward levels leaders of APC to rally round Moniedafe and support his ambition which will be of tremendous benefit to the state in particular and Nigeria in general.
