Adamawa: NGO trains CSOs Lawyers, Hunters,  Others On Civil Space, Human Rights

Centre for Peace, Education and Community Development,  Jalingo with support from Spaces For Change Lagos,  organised a one-day stakeholders town hall meeting on Civil Space and Human Rights in Adamawa. 

One of the resource persons during the one day seminar,  Dr Joseph Gimba said civil space has enormous challenges as not everyone can be able to fully participate for  variety of reasons the  and world over, it is not free and some group of people are being discriminated and prevented from exercising their rights. 

Mr. Emmanuel Ussa Kwache, another facilitator  harped on bringing the image of society to be built in peace as a panacea to development. 

Court Magistrates and lawyers in Adamawa, traditional leaders, vigilantes, hunters association and CSOs were participants, who  gathered at Dantsoho Hotel to be educated on civil space. 

The non governmental organization trained the stakeholders to have  broad knowledge on human rights as the one of the constitutional means to have a sound and civic environment.
