Adamawa 2023: Senator Binani Kick-starts Campaign, Promises New Adamawa

The Adamawa State Gubertorial Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) has promised to rewrite the name of the state in gold if elected governor come March 11, 2023.

Binani who made the promise while officially flagging off her campaign in Toungo Local Government Area, pointed out that as stated in her ten-point agenda, her administration will provide for the people in the state.

She urged the people to vote for her and all APC candidates from top to bottom in the forthcoming general elections, so that more dividends of democracy can be provided for Nigerians.

Te first female governorship candidate, assured electorate that if elected into office in 2023, they will not regret, as she will bring about social, economic and infrastructural development of the state.

She stated that her government will revive the skills acquisition programmes of ex Governor Murtala Nyamo, popularly known as Baba Mai Mangoro, to encourage youth and women to be self reliant as well as return special assistance scheme for human empowerment with a view to reducing youth unemployment in the state.

The gubernatorial hopeful urged the people to vote for her, stressing that, “as a woman I will not disappoint you, you can trust me with your votes”

She appealed to the leaders to encourage their children and wards to vote for her, while assuring the women that when elected as governor of the state, women and youth will play integral part of her plans for the new Adamawa.

” I will make sure our educational system is improved on”. She assured.

In his remarks at the occasion, a political heavyweight and APC stalwart in the state, Alhaji Mansur Toungo asked the gubernatorial candidate to go and campaign in other areas but not in Toungo axis, assuring that Toungo is a home for the progressives.

Mansur Toungo charged his teeming supporters and electorate to vote massively for Binani as Governor come march 2023.

Earlier, in his address, the member House of Representatives representing Toungo, Ganye, Jada and Mayobelwa Constituency, Hon. Abdilrazak Namdas, said Binani is a sign of good things to happen in the state as the first woman to be elected governor.

“My people, Senator Binani would make history in our state as the first woman to be elected executive governor by the grace of God. So vote for her in multiples. I am supporting her ambition,”Namdas canvassed.

Other speakers who spoke, commended Binani for her leadership style and that she kept the promise made to the electorate in the past and that she can still be trusted with their votes.
