The recently sacked senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Nasarawa West District, Architect Shehu Ahmad Tukur is currently being interrogated at the Force CID, Area-10, Abuja (FCT).
Tukur who until November 2, was the candidate of the governing party for the 2023 general election, was invited for questioning over allegations of forgery leveled against him.
The Federal High Court, Lafia, nullified the June 4 primary election that produced him as candidate and ordered the conduct of fresh exercise within 14-days over gross irregularities.
An official of the police who confirmed the interrogation, said the APC senatorial aspirant had been accused of forging INEC document, which they are thoroughly investigating for appropriate actions.
